Terms
Plain terms for reading and reusing the public record.
The public record
Every public claim on this site is built from public facts and cites the public source it rests on. Countability does not own those underlying facts, and does not claim to. What Countability offers is the organization, curation, preservation, comparison, and delivery of a record built from them.
Attribution of source data
Source data carries its publisher’s own licence, reproduced on Sources & Method. This site contains information licensed under the Statistics Canada Open Licence; where you reuse figures that originate with a named publisher, honour that publisher’s licence and attribution.
No warranty; no advice
The record is provided as published, for information. Nothing here is legal, financial, or policy advice.
This statement describes current practice and is not legal advice; it will be updated as a formal review completes.
